Job summary

Stand Out Home Care in Sun City, AZ is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide in-home support to clients who need assistance with daily activities. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, while helping with meals, transportation and social engagement.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Pass a background check
• Compassionate, patient, empathetic, and dependable
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving and transferring
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Light housekeeping and creating a safe living environment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor health, mood, and behavior; report changes to families/ccare team.
• Follow care plans and maintain communication with families and team.
• Respect client privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
