Job summary

Stand Out Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality in-home care for individuals needing support due to age, illness, or disability. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, and transferring clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe living environment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other errands.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, mood, or condition.
• Follow established care plans and communicate with families and the care team.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
