Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc. in Waterbury, CT is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our in-home elder care team. This full-time role requires availability Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am.

You will assist clients with ADLs, companionship, mobility, hygiene and daily activities to help them remain in their homes. We provide paid weekly, bonus incentives, 401K, health benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be available Sundays-Wednesdays or Thursdays-Saturdays in the listed shifts.
• Minimum of one year of experience in home care or healthcare.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation; car insurance required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Willingness to comply with all legal and institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (meal prep, laundry, light housework).
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
• Assist with mobility issues and getting in/out of bed or wheelchair.
• Remind client to take medications.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily activities as needed.
• Change bed linens regularly and document client progress.
