Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is hiring Caregivers to serve clients across Hanover NH and surrounding areas with flexible day-time shifts.

As an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility support, and medication reminders, while following care plans. Training opportunities are available, and mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing and able to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
