Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is hiring caregivers to serve clients across Hanover NH and surrounding towns. This role offers flexible daytime hours, competitive wages, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

You will assist clients with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility support, and transportation. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with insurance are required, along with strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training (provided if needed).
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and a desire to brighten clients' day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with mobility at home and during appointments.
