Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of the facility including floors, bathrooms, laundry facilities, porches, offices and resident rooms
• Maintain an uncluttered, clean, and orderly facility at all times
• Notify management of furnishings in need of repair
• Eliminate unpleasant odors when possible
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory and orders
• Empty and clean trash cans throughout the facility
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and rights
• Follow facility emergency plans and respond appropriately
• Use equipment for its intended purpose to minimize waste
• Keep cleaning supplies stored securely when not in use
• Supervise cleaning cart while on the hall
