Autumn Lake Healthcare at Beloit is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, comfortable living environment for residents. You will handle housekeeping for rooms and common areas and manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing.

The role supports a compassionate team in a sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care setting, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and laundry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Restock linen closets and supplies as needed
• Assist with cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team
• Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process
