Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, halls, common areas and offices.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, polish and buff surfaces as directed.
• Follow facility safety, privacy and infection control policies.
• Report any abuse/neglect to the Administrator or Charge Nurse on duty.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Move furniture as needed to clean and maintain spaces.
• Ensure floors are cleaned, stripped and waxed per schedule.
• Assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies if required.
