This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment as directed by the Executive Director or Director of Housekeeping.

The position emphasizes infection control, safe handling of supplies, and coordination with nursing staff to keep resident living and recreational areas well cared for.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people.
• Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping functions and tasks as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff in resident areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive living spaces.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with lifting heavy equipment or supplies as needed.
• Comply with policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
