The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Portland, OR to support daily cleaning and maintenance in our community. You will perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, under direction from the Executive Director and Director of Housekeeping.

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and families.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily housekeeping functions following safety precautions and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments.
• Maintain clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive work areas.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and stored properly.
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms and areas.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Clean windows/mirrors and floors, including vacuuming.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
