Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the Community interior, including residents' apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous, friendly manner. You will handle general housekeeping for the community and individual apartments.

The role requires basic reading/writing, English communication, and strong organizational/time management skills to handle multiple tasks safely.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments.
• Vacuum, dust, clean entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, and patios.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure linen supplies.
• Launder all linens by washing and drying in the facilities provided.
• Follow company sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests, serve meals, and help with storage and delivery as needed.
