Job summary

Holiday by Atria, a senior living provider, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and sanitary interiors across resident apartments and common areas. You will vacuum, dust, and clean entryways, dining rooms, hallways, and patios, while also handling linen management and refrigerators as needed.

In addition to housekeeping duties, you may assist with serving meals, greeting residents, and ensuring a pleasant dining environment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Community interior and residents' apartments in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Provide general housekeeping for common areas and resident spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways and dining areas.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and manage linen supplies in each apartment.
• Launder all linens and follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Serve residents at tables: greet, review menu, take orders, serve meals and desserts, and reset tables after meals.
