Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents, staff, and visitors across our community. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices according to established schedules.

The role requires at least one year of housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to interact warmly with residents while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Launder and replace linens and textiles as needed.
• Follow the community cleaning schedule and safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly, respectful interactions.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs changes to the supervisor.
