Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community, is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team in Johnston, IA. No prior senior care experience necessary.

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Johnston, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, with duties including dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Position Type: Part-Time, 20-24 hours a week, working a varied schedule including some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a diverse population of older adults.
• Ability work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing and trash removal.
• Launder resident and facility clothing, sheets and towels, including folding, labeling and distribution to resident rooms.
• This role will assist in all departments on an as needed basis.
