Allure of Walnut is seeking a dependable Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will follow schedules, clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, and assist with laundry duties with care and discretion.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
