Johns Island Post Acute is seeking a housekeeper to join our expanding team at our 132-bed facility on Johns Island, SC. You will keep public and resident areas clean and well-maintained, supporting a comfortable environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and federal background check.
• Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain all public and common areas daily including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
• Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning and keep chemicals out of residents' reach.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.
• Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & federal background check.
