Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in assisted living communities. This role includes routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas, while ensuring sanitation procedures are followed.

The position emphasizes privacy, dignity, and comfort for residents, with required training, ability to lift and stand long periods, and adherence to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred today, especially healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in resident/tenant rooms and common areas.
• Conduct deep cleans and carpet care.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and surfaces.
• Launder and maintain linens and laundry as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and SDS guidelines for chemicals.
• Wear appropriate PPE and report safety hazards.
• Assist with move-ins/move-outs and seasonal cleanups.
