Job summary

Bridgewater Assisted Living is seeking a Housekeeper to perform comprehensive housekeeping services to maintain the facility, grounds, furnishings, and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork with Nursing Services, and adherence to established procedures.

You will contribute to a respectful living environment for residents, follow schedules, and report hazards promptly while upholding residents’ rights and working as part of our environmental team.

Qualifications

• Understand safe, effective housekeeping practices
• Able to work as part of a team with other departments
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of housekeeping services to maintain grounds, furnishings, equipment and facility
• Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
• Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
• Follow safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Honor residents’ personal and property rights
• File complaints/grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
