Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, follow infection control procedures, and support residents and staff with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. COVID-19 vaccination compliance is preferred. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
