Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in hospital clerical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as receptionist for unit, answers telephone, takes messages and delivers them.
• Completes documentation for patient room changes and maintains medical records.
• Inputs requests for Plant Operations and follows up.
• Files lab work, EEG and EKG results in patient charts after physician review.
• Notifies physicians of consults and coordinates admissions.
• Breaks down discharge charts.
