TouchPoint, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring Patient Transporters to assist at Henry Ford Saint John Hospital in Detroit. Full-time and part-time positions with rotating weekends and a $15.00/hour pay rate. Prior patient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely transport patients and equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients and secures IVs and tubes.
• Uses wheelchairs and approved rolling stock.
• Ensures safe transport to destinations.
• Communicates with nursing staff and clinicians.
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment issues.
• Maintains and reports equipment needing repairs.
