Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets across Texas, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes sitting with families, answering hard questions with kindness, and delivering dignified, peaceful goodbyes in the home.

You'll practice independently on the road but are supported by a team that invests in your training, growth, and well-being from day one.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice medicine with time and empathy, in families' homes.
• Work independently on the road with team support and mentorship.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
