Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to provide hospice care and in-home euthanasia across Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, North Richland Hills, and Colleyville. You’ll practice on the road, delivering dignified end-of-life care in the pets’ own homes.

This role emphasizes thoughtful mentorship, a schedule that fits your life with 2–5 days per week options, generous compensation, and no non‑compete, with weekend consideration and a strong support

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms. You’ll choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, a background check, and a driving record review prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care and in-home euthanasia to pets in their home environment.
• Practice independently on the road with strong team support and mentorship.
• Sit with families, answer difficult questions with kindness, and help families say goodbye with dignity and peace.
• Offer compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care through home visits and flexible scheduling.
