Silverado is seeking a compassionate Social Worker (MSW) for our hospice services in Chula Vista and surrounding areas. Join a nationally recognized team, providing emotional support and resource coordination for families during their hospice journey.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work and documented training in grief counseling. This part-time position requires an open availability for weekend on-call. The anticipated pay range is $35-$39 per hour, and we offer great benefits including 401(k) matching and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Documented evidence of training in grief and loss counseling.
• Comfortable working in environments with pets.
• Good driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans.
• Design educational materials for families receiving bereavement services.
• Evaluate the bereavement program quarterly and annually.
• Assist the health team in understanding emotional factors related to terminal illness.
