Job summary

Bloom Healthcare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse PRN to provide compassionate, high-quality care to hospice clients in Fort Collins. You will perform nursing assessments, manage pain and symptoms, educate family members, and ensure safe, dignified end-of-life care.

The ideal candidate is a CO-licensed RN with at least one year of medical-surgical or critical care experience, strong communication skills, and comfort working in hospice settings.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing school graduate and Colorado RN license required.
• Minimum of one year in medical, surgical, or critical care nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment capability and patient-focused care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and reliability.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospice nursing care to clients.
• Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments.
• Plan and implement effective care plans.
• Manage pain and symptoms for comfort.
• Ensure patient safety and appropriate care transitions.
