Job summary

Advantage is a growing hospice provider seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join the Mechanicsburg, PA team. This full-time role offers 7-on/7-off scheduling and in-home patient care, with a focus on comfort and dignity.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess patient needs, administer medications, educate families, and support end-of-life care in patients' homes or at a hospice facility, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or eligibility to take NCLEX
• Minimum 1 year in hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms for comfort
• Educate and support patients and families on end-of-life care and symptom management
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families
