Advantage is seeking a compassionate Hospice RN to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA, providing in-home hospice care. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered nursing with an emphasis on comfort, symptom management, and family education.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess needs, create care plans, administer medications, and coordinate resources to ensure dignified end-of-life care for patients and families in the Mechanicsburg area.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or NCLEX eligibility.
• 1 year hospice/palliative care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms to ensure patient comfort.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management.

About You:

• You should have an active RN license in the state in which you are practicing or be a new grad with eligibility to take NCLEX.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred.
