Job summary

Advantage is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Team serving Greensburg and surrounding areas. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes or hospice facilities, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support families facing end-of-life care with education and symptom management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state or eligibility to take NCLEX (new grad).
• Minimum 1 year of hospice, palliative care, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms for patient comfort.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
