Buckeye Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our end-of-life care team serving Montgomery, Butler and Warren counties in Ohio.

The RN will deliver direct patient care, manage symptoms and provide education and emotional support to patients and families. A state-licensed RN with hospice experience is preferred, and the role emphasizes autonomy, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license required.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently.
• Geriatric patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients' health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families during challenging times, fostering a compassionate environment.
