Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Maryland State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Two years of nursing experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial assessment of patient and family.
• Prepares and implements care plan in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group.
• Provides direct nursing care to patients.
• Plans and supervises delivery of care by HHA.
• Teaches family members patient care skills.

Skills

Knowledge of universal precautions for infection control

Strong time management skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to be patient and family focused

Skill in use of EMR

Education

Diploma, ADN and/or BSN from an accredited institution
