AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the San Antonio area. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans that honor patient wishes and dignity.

The role emphasizes on‑call rotations, education for patients and caregivers, and ongoing professional development within a mission‑driven organization that values well‑being and balance for staff.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
