Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized patient care within a hospice care setting, following the nursing process to ensure safe, effective treatment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes and support families.

Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred), SC nursing license or compact state, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure safe and effective care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing processes and standards.

Education
