Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, patient-centered care under general supervision, applying nursing process principles to families and patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

With an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred), SC Board of Nursing licensure or a compact state, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required, you will work a 36-hour week and contribute to a collaborative care environment with a $18,000 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health-care team to achieve safe, effective care and desired outcomes.
• Participation in patient and family education and discharge planning.
