Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a receptionist to support our office teams who handle multiple lines of communication and patient-related coordination. The role emphasizes compassionate service and timely, accurate information flow within interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of receptionist or secretarial experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn clinical software and electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Receptionist experience across multiple communication channels.
• 1 year of post-secondary education or vocational training.
• Minimum 2 years in secretarial or receptionist roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to learn clinical software and electronic records.
• Willing to work an 8-hour shift.
• Duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls across departments.
• Greet visitors and manage front desk.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient information.
• Enter data into clinical software and EHR.
