OnePoint Patient Care is hiring a Part Time Pharmacy Technician in Overland Park, KS. Join our closed-door pharmacy team serving hospice patients in a non-retail setting, with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems and software; accurate medication identification.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Label products accurately with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into computer systems to generate labels.
• Assist with inventory management and stock checking.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist onboarding and training of new staff.
• Operate specialized tasks in narcotics room and automated machines.
• Mix IV medications and sanitize IV room/equipment.
• Support facility-based dispensing machines (e.g., Omnicell).
• Perform other pharmacy support tasks as assigned.
