Job summary

OnePoint Patient Care in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support hospice patients in a closed-door, non-retail setting. You will fill prescriptions, label products, and assist with IV compounding and inventory, working 2:00pm-6:00pm Mon-Wed and 12:00pm-4:00pm every third Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Label products with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the computer system.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and stock checks.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Work with narcotics room and automated dispensing systems.
