Job summary

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to evaluate patients, develop care plans and coordinate with families and the care team. You will lead the care team to ensure every patient receives quality, compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree and an active RN license, with 2+ years in clinical nursing; hospice experience is preferred. Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized care plans.
• Communicate with patient, family, and care team to coordinate care.
• Lead the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
