Job summary

Liberty Health in Wilson, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position serving Wilson/Rocky Mount. The RN will provide compassionate end-of-life care, coordinate with families, physicians, and the Hospice team, and ensure care plans meet reimbursement guidelines.

Experience in hospice preferred and CPR certified. The role requires current RN licensure, 2+ years clinical nursing experience, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Two years clinical nursing experience; hospice nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Willingness to travel and weekend/evening/holiday call assignments.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theories and concepts.
• Care and documentation of care meeting reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate physical care of the patient with family, patient, physician and Hospice team.
• Communicate with patients/families at all levels and with agency personnel.
• Attend IDT meetings and quality reviews as scheduled by the agency.
