Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management's Liberty Hospice in Thomasville, NC seeks an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time work delivering compassionate, state-of-the-art end-of-life care.

You will apply nursing theories, document care per reimbursement guidelines, coordinate with families, physicians, and the Hospice team, and participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews. RN licensure and CPR are required; travel and flexible weekend/evening shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Completion of approved nursing education with clinical experience.
• Hospice nursing experience preferred (1 year).
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• CPR certification.
• Willingness to travel and cover weekend/evening/holiday call.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and documentation meeting reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate physical care with patient, family, physician, and Hospice team.
• Communicate with patients and families at all levels.
• Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews.
• Collaborate with agency personnel.
