Job summary

Liberty Hospice in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Hospice Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across the hospice coverage area.

The role requires current RN licensure, two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice experience preferred; travel is required and you will work as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team to support families at home and in facilities.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice with required nursing education.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience and prefer hospice exposure.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theories and concepts in patient care.
• Care and documentation meeting reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate physical care with family, patient, physician and Hospice team.
• Communicate with patients and families at all levels.
• Attend IDT meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.
