Angels Care Hospice in Kansas is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient‑centered team. You will provide direct care under RN supervision, follow the plan of care, document services, and support end‑of‑life interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• Three years’ nursing experience; hospice or medical/surgical preferred.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with automobile insured as required.
• Understands philosophy of hospice care and terminally ill needs.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including end-of-life care.
• Implements the plan of care based on comprehensive assessment.
• Documents patient services accurately and timely.
• Educates patient and family about diagnosis and self-care plans.
• Coordinates hospice services with the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses equipment with aseptic technique and maintains safety.
• Manages pain and symptoms and evaluates responses to treatments.
• Participates in professional growth and quality improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the RN.
