Job summary

Kansas City Hospice, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospice team in the Overland Park area.

You will provide expert palliative care, comfort, and education to patients and families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will hold MO and KS LPN licenses (or compact), have CPR certification, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered MO and KS LPN license (or compact).
• Minimum of 1 year hospice care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication and written/oral skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality hospice care to seriously ill patients as part of an Interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains.
