Job summary

Alpha Omega Hospice seeks a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to deliver comprehensive social work services to hospice patients and families. You will provide counseling and psychosocial support to promote emotional well–being within an interdisciplinary team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Coverage Area: Brownwood and surrounding counties, TX. The role emphasizes dignity, peace, and human connection in end‑of‑life care with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: MSW from an accredited program.
• Licensed Social Worker in the state board.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial status and communicate with RN Case Manager.
• Evaluate medical needs, home situations, and resources.
• Create personalized social work plans with Bereavement Coordinator support.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Provide empathetic counseling to patients and families.
