Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of pastoral care experience in a diverse setting.
• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent with four ACPE CPE units completed.
• Ordination or faith group endorsement with potential to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct pastoral care and counseling to patients, families, and staff.
• Offers emotional and spiritual support in crises.
• Engages in community and staff education on spiritual care topics.
• Provides on-site care during evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts on a rotational basis.
• Consults with hospital staff to develop care plans and support strategies.
