Job summary

ProHealth hospice seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide to support terminally ill patients in Georgia. You will perform essential personal care under RN supervision, assist families, and help maintain patient comfort in a home or facility setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Home Health Aide competency, CPR and CNA certifications. Prior nursing assistant experience is preferred; physical stamina a must for lifting and transfers.

Qualifications

• Educational/Degree: High school diploma or GED.
• Training/Licensure: Graduate from an approved training and competency course.
• Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Must meet federal Home Health Aide training and competency requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a nursing assistant, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides essential personal care to the patient under RN supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Maintains competency and participates in supervision and annual reviews.
• Reports changes in patient condition promptly to the RN and Hospice office.
