Job summary

Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA to provide high-quality end-of-life care to patients in the Penn Hills area. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote dignity and comfort for patients in homes and care facilities.

Requirements include PA CNA certification, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Build compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
• Follow all hospice policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
