Job summary

Serenity Hospice is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality end-of-life care for patients in the Penn Hills area and surrounding facilities. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support dignity, comfort, and quality of life for patients and their families.

The role requires a current Pennsylvania CNA certification, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania CNA certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hospice/home health or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
Build compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
Follow all hospice policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
