Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice invites CNAs to join our Northwest Arkansas care team, delivering direct personal care to terminally ill patients in home and outpatient settings. The role involves following an aide care plan, ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance, and maintaining timely visits across multiple counties.

The ideal candidate has Arkansas CNA certification, current CPR, TB test documentation, and at least one year in healthcare, preferably with hospice patients.

Qualifications

• Arkansas Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification, current CPR certification, current TB skin test documentation.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with terminally ill patients.
• Requires use of personal vehicle to travel to patient homes; valid Arkansas Driver's License and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care (bathing, turning, oral hygiene) per care plan.
• Ensure patient care activities meet state/federal requirements and standards.
• Maintain timely visits, document mileage and time in patient homes.
• Communicate concerns to the primary nurse and document in aide notes.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with mentoring new staff.
