Job summary

Arkansas Hospice, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in a hospice setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will support hygiene, comfort, and daily living activities, while maintaining patient dignity and communicating with the care team. The role requires a CNA credential, Arkansas driver’s license, and adherence to safety and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA training and competency evaluation program per Arkansas guidelines.
• Experience: Prior direct patient care in hospital, long-term care, or hospice preferred.
• Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Additional Requirements: Must have a valid Arkansas driver's license, car insurance, and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Perform basic nursing tasks under RN supervision.
• Document patient status and care provided accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate environment for patients.
