Job summary

Circle of Life in Arkansas is seeking an Inpatient CNA to provide personal care to hospice patients on 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with night and day coverage available. This role emphasizes compassionate, ethical care and adherence to the patient care plan within Circle of Life's standards.

Qualifications include Arkansas CNA or Home Health Aide certification, CPR, TB documentation, and at least one year in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Arkansas Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB skin test documentation up to date.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to cope with suffering, emergencies and other stresses.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license, auto liability insurance, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct personal care to hospice patients, including bathing and oral hygiene.
• Follows the aide care plan in evaluation, intervention, and documentation.
• Ensures all activities comply with state/federal regulations and Circle of Life standards.
• Maintains timely visits, including scheduled and unscheduled, and documents accordingly.
• Participates in staff meetings and mentors new staff as needed.
